Gloria Marie Black passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on October 18, 2021 at the age of 69 years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Rob Gourley; daughter Niki Black; grandchildren Cole and Amy Edmunds. She is also survived by her sister Dianna Peters and brothers Jim and Orist Pashko; niece Glenna Peters; nephews Jody Peters and Duffy (Beth) Pashko; great-nieces Hailey, Isabella, Claire, Ceili and Aurelia; great-great-nephew Jude; and many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Anna (nee Donecz) and Walter Pashko.
Born and raised in northern Alberta, Gloria made her way to Calgary in 1976. Working many years in the transportation industry and also became a serial entrepreneur.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Gloria’s memory directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
