My deepest condolences to Gee and the entire Lung family.  George, Gee, Grandma Lung and the boys were great friends of our family when we lived down the street from them in Glamorgan.  Our spirited road hockey games were often followed by warming up in the Lung home.  My Mum (Beegee) and I were introduced to the delicious bao and other delicacies prepared in Gee's kitchen and our entire family enjoyed many Boxing Days in their home with George always being the genial host.  George was always happy to debate politics, sports and many other topics.  His mother and my grandmother (Mackie) would hold hands and chat to each other even though neither knew the other's language (we said they spoke "grandmother" to each other).   George was a wonderful person and I know he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.  My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

I have often thought of George and his lovely family over the years.  George was a good friend to my Dad, Bill Church and served him many great meals at the family restaurant in Carbon.  All the teens and kids in the town spent countless hours at the restaurant and George and his family welcomed us for after school pops, fries, and juke box music, no matter how loud and annoying we were.  Our little town was a better place because of George and his family.  Many thanks and many memories.

We lived across the street from Gee and George for many years, they were always very kind to us and our children! We miss them these days.  Thinking of Gee and her family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept our condolences from our family. I always appreciated that Uncle George would take time to chat with me when we met.  My dad was sorting through some old photos and he found the attached picture - circa 1957 - and he wanted to share it with you. My dad recounted the long friendship that he and my mom shared with Aunt Gee and Uncle George. My prayer is that God will provide His comfort and peace at this time.

My sincere condolences to Gee and the boys. I have many fond memories of working at the Killarney grocery store, my very first job at 14 years old back in the late sixties. I am forever grateful for that opportunity and will always remember George for his humour, compassion and his very strong work ethic. RIP George

I have so sorry for your loss. Allan and I enjoyed talking with George and Gee in Glamorgan. They were such nice neighbors.

Gee & Family - George was kind and caring. Recall the store on 26 Avenue, my office was in the same strip mall. Have fond memories of how kind you both were when my young daughter would go to the store. We still have the lovely embroidered purse you gave my daughter, many years ago. Hold close all the wonderful memories of a husband and father. Thinking of you.

Gordon and I both have fond memories of George and Gee when they lived in Carbon and also when they ran the grocery store in Calgary on 26th Avenue SW as we lived in Killarney at the time.  Condolences to Gee, their sons and families.

My deepest condolences to the Lung family on your recent loss.  I will miss Uncle George's sports and other updates, and amusing jokes at the New Year's banquets.  Take good care, I will see you soon.

Memories of Mr. Lung came flooding back after Alex sent me the notice of his passing. Many images of being in the basement of your house in Glamorgan,  or in the store in Killarney.

Dear Aunt Gee and family, my prayers are for you during this time of loss. What I remember the most about Uncle George was his great energy, generosity, caring and love for everyone he met. 
I personally will miss his smiles, laughter and happiness that he shared with me during all my visits to Calgary and his to Vancouver. My fondest memories of my only uncle, Uncle George will forever be cherished in my heart.
