Ethel Roberta Robinson

Bobby was born on September 11, 1925 in Red Deer, Alberta to Robert and Ethel McAllister. She grew up on a farm in Innisfail, Alberta with her two brothers Angus and Earl, and her sister Fay McAllister. Bobby left the farm to complete her R.N. diploma at the Holy Cross Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1947. That same year she married Canadian soldier John Wallace (Wally) Robinson on November 2, 1947. Together they raised three children, Judy, David, and Robert Robinson in Calgary, Alberta.

Bobby is survived by her children Judy Brown and her partner John Morin, David Robinson and his wife Debbie Robinson, Robert Robinson and his wife Gayle Gordon, Michael Brown and his wife Amber Skelton, Lisa Miller and her husband Donavon Miller, David Brown and his wife Karrie Brown, and Michael Robinson, along with her great-grandchildren Colton Brown, Rylan Rasmussen, Tysen Miller, Tasia Miller, Maxwell Brown, Mataya Miller, and Jace Brown, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Bobby was predeceased by her parents Robert and Ethel McAllister, her sister Fay Percy, her husband John Wallace Robinson, her brothers Earl and Angus McAllister, and her grandson Christopher Xavier Robinson.

A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W. Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on September 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
