be missed by her sons Paul and Brian, daughters-in-law Julie and Jennifer, and grandchildren Ian, Leah and Joel and Rowan.
She was born and lived her life in Calgary. She met Dick (Diedrich) Reimer while they both worked at the City of Calgary. Betty and Dick were married in 1966 and had twin boys in 1967. She enjoyed time with family and spent many hours volunteering at the Red Cross, Ten Thousand Villages and the MCC Thrift Store.
Betty enjoyed spending time with friends and loved going to the mountains and the zoo. She is predeceased by her husband Dick and sister Helen.
Memorial Service to take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 9 at Foothills Mennonite Church, 2115 Urbana Road NW, Calgary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MCC, #210, 2946 – 32 St NE, Calgary, T1Y 6J7 or the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Rd NE, Calgary, T2E 2P5.
