Doreen passed away peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the age of 71 years. She will be forever loved by her son Terry (Heather) of Edmonton, as well as her numerous brothers, sisters and many friends. Doreen was predeceased by her husband Barry in 1995 and daughter Cheryl in 1985. Doreen’s family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful staff of the Sarcee Hospice. A Celebration of Life was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Thorncliff Seniors 5600 Centre Street N.
