Donald Alexander Herrick passed away peacefully in Airdrie on Sunday, November 13th. Don was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and moved to Alberta to work in the late 1940s. Don worked with GSI, Sefel, and Foremost and his work took him to locations all over the world.
Don is survived by his sister Joan of Regina, Saskatchewan; his daughters Patricia (Richard) of Calgary, and Sharon (Neil) of Nanaimo, British Columbia; four grandchildren Jennifer (Bradley), Danny (Meghan), Graham (Elizabeth) and Heather (Matt); and 3 great-grandchildren Alexander, April, and Imogen. He is predeceased by his wife Irene in 2015.
A Memorial Service in thanksgiving of Don’s life will be held at Foster Garden Chapel, 3220 4th Street NW, Calgary on Friday, November 18 at 2:00 PM.
