David Lewis Kennedy passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB with his family at his side on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the age of 64 years. David was born in Toronto and moved to Newfoundland as a young boy. He spent his young adulthood in Toronto and has been in Calgary for the last 25 years where he spent most of his career in sales and design. He took great pleasure in encountering friends and acquaintances anywhere he travelled. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. David is lovingly remembered by his two daughters Cheryl Gordon (Adam) and Heather Wright (Mike), two grandchildren Hannah and Davis Gordon and Cheryl and Heather’s mom Ruth Kennedy. He is also survived by his sister Renee Livingston (Bob). David is predeceased by his parents Les and Alice Kennedy. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a service held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on November 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to The Canadian Cancer Society 200 – 325 Manning Road N.
