Colleen was a loving mother to her son Branden (Courtney), and a loving wife to her devoted husband, Larry for over 25 years; along with Larry’s two children, Brendan (Lindsay) and Aaron (Beth). She will be lovingly remembered by her two sisters, Janelle (Dave) and Michelle; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Colleen is preceded by her parents Helen (Zylik) and Ted (Neigel).
Colleen was a born and raised Calgarian, spending her entire life in the city. Upon graduating from St. Francis, she was off to SAIT to pursue her post-secondary education and continue to play basketball. Colleen’s dedication and work ethic served her well in all areas of her life. The last 25 years of her career she worked at Clover Leaf Cheese, where she forged lifelong friendships and became a valued member of the management team. Colleen was a caring, proud, responsible, thoughtful, funny and smart woman who enjoyed time surrounded by family and friends no matter the occasion. Colleen will be in our hearts forever.
