Roger Bouma, age 73, born August 24, 1951, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Anne Bouma; brothers Marvin (infant), Bill, and Robert (twin). He is survived by his sister, Lois Bouma; sister-in-law, Judy Bouma; nephews Mike and Barb Bouma (Drew and Jaelyn) and Jeff and Mary Bouma (Hannah, Luke, Eve, and Jordyn); aunt, Harriet Borgman.
He proudly served in the Michigan National Guard and was employed by Keeler Brass for 35 years. Roger loved snowmobiling, riding his “gold wing” motorcycle, and enjoyed many trips with his friends.
Funeral services will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with visitation from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. prior to the service.
