At age 53, Randy entered into the arms of his Savior and Heavenly Father August 28, 2023, while at home in the care of his loving wife and children. Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He exemplified and shared the deep love of Jesus and the truths of His Word to his family, friends, and church community. His love for his family and friends was evident by his desire and intentionality to spend time with them often. He faithfully attended church, participated in Bible studies, and served in various capacities within his church for many years. It was evident to those around him, and a testament of his faith, that he was trusting and submitted to the Lord’s plan and will for his life. One of his favorite passages was Psalm 91.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Tricia Van Dyke; children Amy (Evan) Davies, Brianna Van Dyke, Seth (Carly) Van Dyke, and Karissa Van Dyke; and granddaughter expected in November. He is preceded in death by his father, Willis Van Dyke and brother, Bobby Van Dyke. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Van Dyke; siblings Deb (Doug) Kooienga, Dale (Joanne) Van Dyke, Daryl (Brenda) Van Dyke, Dan (Shelley) Van Dyke, Dianne (Ken) VanPutten, and Teri (James) Meekhof.
