Nancy Carolyn Mitchell

Nancy Mitchell, age 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 4, 2023 following a sudden and unexpected heart attack. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Mitchell; children Natalie (Josh) Kegg, Michelle (Brad) Imburgia, Lauren (Adam) Dolson, and Jonathan (Lauren) Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; siblings Shirley Cinotto, Alan Plaza, and Gary (Vicky) Plaza; sister-in-law, Carol Rush; brother-in-law, Randy Mitchell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nancy had an unshakable faith and love for Jesus Christ. Her faith was evident in her love, hospitality, and selfless giving towards others. She was a loving mother and homemaker which was evident in her constant availability to her children. Nancy had a knack for details, and found great joy in home décor and renovations. After her children were older, she worked as a Pharmacy Technician. She loved playing golf and enjoyed countless outings the past couple years.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Crossroads Bible Church, 800 Scribner Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
