Doug was a U.S. Army veteran. Doug enjoyed watching movies and playing with his grandkids. He worked at American Seating for over 46 years.
Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Wanell Calkins and father, Johnny Evans. He is survived by his daughters Ashley Evans (Reese Maleport), Alison (Ryan) Gunn, and Tyler (Scott) Shepard; grandkids Stella, Hendrix, Trey, Lucinda, and Leona; brother, Dennis (Karen) Evans; sister, Brenda (Robert) Peacock; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
