Byron Keith Brink, age 65, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Byron was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene Beth Brink and father, Ronald Brink. He will be remembered by his wife, Cheryl Brink; children Curtis (Mindy) Brink and Carla (Mike) Bensted; grandchildren Alyssa, Evan, Taylor, Breanne, Bryce; mother, Johanna “Jo” Brink; stepchildren Heather (Jamie) Addiss, Stephen (Sasha) Scalise; step-grandchildren Christopher, Vinny, Emma, and Sebastian; step-great-granddaughter, Sophia; mother-in-law, Carole Siegel; siblings Leslie (Vicky) Brink, David (Carmen) Brink, and Dale Brink; in-laws Karen (Chuck) Bush, Bob Ritzenhein, Eric Siegel, Tom (Linda) Damstra, Ruth Damstra, Sue (Steve) Dejonge; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Byron enjoyed golfing, traveling, and being outdoors. He enjoyed going to Florida and being by the water. Byron loved getting to know people personally and professionally. He had a wonderful life with his family and friends.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th Street, Byron Center, MI 49315. A Celebration of Byron’s Life will commence 11 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023 with visitation one hour prior at Friendship Christian Reformed Church, 190 100th Street SE, Byron Center, MI 49315. Pastor Dan Kinnas will be officiating. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery. In honor of Byron, contributions may be made to Kids’ Food Basket.
