Myrtle graduated from Duncanville high school and subsequently worked 16 years in the Human Resource department at LTV in Grand Prairie and Arlington Texas.
Myrtle and Ken married September 11th 1971 and retired early to the hill country in Lometa,Texas in 1975. She and Ken later moved to Tow,Texas. Myrtle loved to travel, bass fish in which she often bested her husband Kenneth, she loved to garden and cook, always from scratch
Myrtle had a lovely easy smile, a quick wit and a kind heart. Those who met Myrtle immediately recognized her kindness and sincerity and most often found a lifelong friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Howard Basinger Sr. and Carl Basinger and her nephew Larry Oswald
Myrtle is survived by her husband Kenneth Wilson, Nephew Howard Basinger Jr. Niece Ashley Herring, and daughter Malaylla, her beloved cat Miss Kitty, many nieces nephews and numerous friends.
