Graveside services will be at 11am, Tuesday, February 7 at Mount Zion Cemetery in Bertram, Texas.
Frank was born May 15, 1923 in Granger, Texas. He served in WWII as a gunner and navigator for the US Army Air Corp. He saw service in the African Campaign and flew missions during D-day.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Griffin.
Frank never met a stranger; for those who knew him, knew he was capable of carrying on a conversation with anyone. He had a firecracker personality and enjoyed making people laugh. He was never angry or upset and he took life as it came. He enjoyed gardening, grocery shopping, watching all things sports (especially the Longhorns) and family dinners until Jesus called him home. We are so blessed we had him for a happy and healthy 93 years. He was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Stefanie and husband, Paul Jacob; son, Ron Owen and three grandchildren; Ashlee Jacob, Keith Owen, Todd Owen and numerous great grandchildren.
