Rosa (Oliverio) Merandi

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother Rosa. She was a wife to Biagio (predeceased); Mother to Isabel(Sergio), Julie(Dino), Mary(Peter) and Anna(Arthur). She was also a much-loved Nonna to eleven, Great Nonna to eight and Great Great Nonna to one, a loving sister and Zia.

She will be dearly missed not only by her many extended family and friends, but also by the people she impacted along life’s journey.

We are comforted that her passing was as she had hoped: peaceful and with the ones she loved near. We will dearly miss many, many things about her but each of us will carry wonderful memories and treasure all the time we had spent with her.

Rest in Paradise, until we meet again.

A prayer service for Rosa will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC V5C2J6.

A funeral mass will occur Friday, November 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan St, Vancouver, BC V5K 3X5.
