On May7, 2022, Madam Oi Kam Ng passed away peacefully at age 95 from her renal illness at SUCCESS K. Y. Lee Seniors Care Home in Vancouver. Oi Kam was reunited with her husband Shun Cheong Lo in heaven who passed away 25 years ago.

2022 年 5 月 7 日，吳愛金女仕因腎病在溫哥華的中僑李國賢護理院安詳離世，享年 95 歲。愛金與25年前去世的丈夫盧順昌先生在天堂重逢。

In the last few months of her life on earth, Oi Kam was surrounded by the love and care of staff in her care home and by her children staying closely with her every day.

在她在世的最後幾個月裡，愛金被她護理院工作人員的愛與關懷所包圍，她的孩子們每天都與她密切相處。

Born on October 15th, 1927 in Canton Province in China, Oi Kam moved to Hong Kong when she was a teenager. She got married in year 1951, and worked as a housewife as well as assisting her husband in running a bleaching and dyeing factory. She was known to be a smart, hardworking and strong will lady who was the central figure in the growing up of her four children.

愛金在1927 年 10 月 15 日出生於中國廣東省，十幾歲時移居香港。她於1951 年結婚，婚後做家庭主婦，並協助丈夫經營漂染廠。眾所周知，她是一位聰明、勤奮、意志堅強的女士，是她四個孩子成長過程中的核心人物。

After Oi Kam’s emigration to Vancouver in Canada in year 1990, she became a faithful Christian and dedicated significant amount of her time in various Christian community services. She was baptised in year 1995 at Pacific Grace MB Church in Vancouver. She was remembered by her friendliness, her remarkable cooking and knitting skills, her love of singing and her good memory of songs and melodies.

愛金於 1990 年移居加拿大溫哥華後，成為一名忠實的基督徒，並將大量時間投入到各種基督教社區服務中。她於 1995 年在溫哥華的頌恩堂教會受洗。她的友善、出色的烹飪和針織技巧、對唱歌的熱愛以及對歌曲和旋律的良好記憶力都令人銘記於心。

Oi Kam is survived by daughters Laurene and Billie, sons Charles and Terence, three grandsons, three granddaughters, and three great-granddaughters. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am to 11:30 am on May 16, 2022 (Monday) at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. It will be followed by a burial service.

愛金身後留下女兒麗萍和麗珠, 兒子海華和棣華, 三個孫子, 三個孫女和三個曾孫女。 葬禮將於2022 年 5 月 16 日(週一)上午 9 點 30 分 至11點30 分 在加拿大不列顛哥倫比亞省本拿比市帝國街4000號海景殯儀館舉行。 隨後將舉行葬禮。
