I have been very fortunate to have Uncle2 in my life. Ever since I was young, I have always been allowed to stay under his roof. When I was in kindergarten, I stayed at his place before my parents picked me up. When I first moved to Vancouver, we lived at his place for the summer. When I moved back to HK for my career, I was allowed to stay in his house until I found a stable job. Uncle2 is not very talkative, but he tells a lot of corny jokes from time to time (and lots of funny self invented tools). I will miss the days when we had family dinners, opened a bottle of wine, and talked about random topics.

You will be dearly missed Uncle2, thank you for everything you have done for our family and everyone around you.

Dear Paul, 

My beloved brother/brother-in-law, even though you have left us, your figure will forever be in our memories. You were hard on yourself but always generous to others, especially your siblings.  Without you and your contributions, we have no idea what our family would have been like.  You stepped up and acted as our father when he passed away decades ago. Despite our sadness, we feel relief that you passed peacefully and painlessly.

God bless you and your family.

I will always remember Uncle Paul (or 二舅父 as I called him) for his happy demeanor, jokes and low, gruff voice. Growing up, I was always at his house for family dinners and family road trips; he was such a presence during my childhood years. I was always in awe at how hardworking he was, flying between Hong Kong and Vancouver for business and to provide for his family. I will miss him very very much. Rest in peace 二舅父, you are dearly loved.

My father was born in Xinhui, Guangdong. He came to Hong Kong with his parents when he was young. He studied in SKH St. Peter's Primary School, boarded in Aberdeen Technical  School , and was baptized as a Catholic there. After graduating from secondary school, he worked in different occupations and started a trading company in the early 1980s. Under the wonderful arrangement of God, my father met my mother who was also a Catholic in church. They got married in 1973 and later gave birth to my sister, me and my brother. Our family immigrated to Vancouver in 1991, and since then my father has been shuttling between Hong Kong and Vancouver for business until he retires.

My father is a hard-working, humorous, loving family and helpful person all his life. He doesn't talk much, but he often jokes, so that we don't believe him when he speaks seriously; he will never be late for every family gathering, and he hides from time to time to play tricks on us. He loves outdoor activities and takes us swimming, cycling, and traveling.

My father  was diagnosed prostate cancer four years ago and recovered after surgery, but in 2020 it was discovered that the cancer had spread to the bone. After suffering from illness for more than three years, my father is now resting in the arms of God, and I have faith to meet him again in the heavenly home in future.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you during your time of loss. May God's mercy give you comfort knowing that your father's long suffering has ended, and he is at peace. He will forever remain in our hearts.

The passing of our dear friend Paul Leung for us, ATS64 in Western Canada means the loss of a lifelong friend of over 60 years. Paul's many years with us left numerous examples of diligence, loyalty, honesty, thrifty and willingness to help others. Besides being a successful and honest businessman, Paul is also a responsible and caring boss to his subordinates. Apart from working, Paul is also keen in sharing with his friends, his many experiences in calligraphy, ballroom dancing, golfing, karaoke and mathematics. Paul is indeed our good friend who knows how to balance between work and leisure to enjoy life in its fullest. Although we are sad that Paul has left us, his voice, smile, optimism and humorism will always remain in our hearts. Rest in peace Paul, till we meet again in heaven!

During my childhood years, I have very fond memories of doing road trips and vacations with uncle Paul and my family.  It definitely brought back the nostalgia; you are deeply missed!

There are not enough words to express how much my dad meant to me. 
He was a good family man that spends a lot of time with his family, yet he is still able to successfully run a business for over 30 years and provide comfortable living standards for the family.  
He was a funny guy. He has a good sense of humor and will always come up with jokes that will make us smile at the dinner table. 
He was the hardest working man I’ve known. Even during his non working years while staying in Vancouver, he was avid volunteer for my elementary school to help out with activities and always building things in our old home on 45th avenue to improve our living standards. 
He was always full of energy, and always full of ideas, and you will be missed.
RIP Dad.
