He was a co-owner and operator of Wong’s Café in North Sydney, Nova Scotia from 1961-1982 and was a dedicated employee of Northwest Food Products in Vancouver, British Columbia from 1983 until 2015.
He is survived by and will be deeply missed his wife Yvonne (Tue Yow Wong), sons David Jr., Jim, and Peter; grandchildren Carissa, Jarrett, Malia, and Michelle; and great-grandchildren Summer and Oakley. He is also survived by his sister, Kim Liu (Sacramento, California).
He was preceded in death by his brother Tommy Tom and sister Fong Cen, both of Sacramento, California.
