It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cecilia Young at the age of 76 on June 9, 2016 at Royal Columbian Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Young; sisters Tin Kartika and Widya Astuti; five children, Ray Young, Vivian Ramos (Paul), Tia Young (David Vandenborn), Rico Young (Yoko Kai), Roy Young. A proud Oma to her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cecilia was 'mom' to so many people and touched the lives of everyone she knew with her graciousness and genuine sincerity. Prayers will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral St., Burnaby. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to BC Cancer Foundation.
