Art Left this world peacefully and with grace on December 17, 2021. In his last hours, Mary comforted him and told him that she and his children would be fine if he was ready to go. He quietly slipped away in his sleep to start his next adventure without the burden of a failing body.
Art was born at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC on April 24, 1937. He leaves behind his beloved wife Mary, children Sherry, Jacquie (Gerald), Art (Jody), Rick (Bernice), Steven (Maria), 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, brother Gerry, sister Marj, and many nieces and nephews.
Sadly, predeceased by his infant son Gregory Howard, sisters Sylvia and Dianne, parents Arthur and Olive, son-in-law Marv (Sherry), and his cherished pets Peanuts and Bugsy.
With appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Mark Green and the nursing staff at Laurel Place in Surrey, Various caregivers over the years, and special thanks to Janet for all her years of devoted compassionate care.
Art’s generous spirit and loving, kind nature will be greatly missed by family and friends.
