Annitta Fong Wai Lee

Annitta was born in Hong Kong on July 28, 1952, to Sau Kee Man and Ming Chun Shum. She grew up in Hong Kong and completed her degree at the Hong Kong Baptist University. She worked briefly in Hong Kong, and then moved to Vancouver in 1979 to join her family who was already in Canada. She met Stephen in Vancouver and they were married in 1984. Together, they had a son, Simon, who loves her more than she can ever know.

Annitta was passionate about traveling. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling with friends and family, experiencing different cultures, and exploring all parts of the world.

She will be remembered as a dedicated, loving, and generous mother, mother-in-law, and friend, who was always quick to offer a dazzling smile and lend a helping hand.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at Ocean View Funeral Home. Guests should arrive at 9:30 am to sign the guestbook and the service will start at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to BC Cancer Foundation or St. Paul’s Foundation (Hematology) who took wonderful care of her throughout her journey.
