Samuel James Morano born April 9, 1930, passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 93. His mother Nunziata Philomena (Minnie) Montanarello and his father Alphonso Gerardo Morano were born in Melfti, Italy. Sam and his brother Angelo James (Francine) were born in Rochester New York. When the family moved to Los Angeles, California, Sam attended Cathedral Hight School and was a student at Pierce College. He owned a home in Sunland where he loved having his horses and dogs. Sam worked as a farrier and met many people who also loved horses. He enjoyed belonging to the Burbank Elks, and spending time with his neighbors, and with his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many who loved him.
