At Marriage Encounter, we were tasked with writing our 1st set of talks.  So Greg and I wrote the whole set by ourselves, without any workshopping!  The team leaders were shocked & dismayed and knew they needed to send in the “right” team to straighten us out.  That’s how we met Ed & Jo!  Ed & Jo were angels from the start.  They fixed our talks and have been fixing us ever since.  Ed said as a team, they could move mountains and that is Truth.  We will never forget Jo, her smile, her authority, her loving heart.  Our loss though is Heaven’s gain.  We all rest in the sure knowledge of where our Jo is:  looking down at us all from heaven and aiding us in prayer always.  We love you Jo, we love you Ed 💕. Always & Forever

We have many wonderful memories and experiences that will live in our hearts forever.



Cousin  Ed, boys and family,  clearly reinforcements were needed in heaven and Jo was summoned to straighten things out (thought my mom and auntie  Lupe had it under control). What a great addition  to our family of cousins and never any grey area on where "Jo Momma" stood. I can only imagine  the glorious  welcome  she received  and deserved on her journey to join others who have  passed  before.  Our condolences and prayers  to you all.  David & Robyn

Not everyone will think this is funny (we did) but when we met Jo and Ed it was at our Marriage Encounter LTR.  We were all in the Section Leaders Room (they made the mistake of leaving all of us in their room unsupervised) and Jo announced that they could short sheet a bed.  We were a pretty unruly group so we dared Jo to prove it….  Well, Jo and Ed did a really good job….  We knew right then that these were the kind of people we wanted to be with!!!  They were always a Powerful Sacrament to deal with and ALWAYS so fun to be around.  LA NORTH IS IN THE HOUSE! Will always ring in our ears.  Jo, you touched our hearts and we will miss you!!!!

I remember the first time I met Jo.  We had just been asked to be on team and help give weekends.  We were very excited.  Our 1st meeting was in Dec., so it was combined with a Christmas pot luck.  We had been at the hall for about 5 minutes, when the doors flew open and this woman yelled "L.A. North is in the house|||||  I thought to myself I don't know that woman ,but I love her enthusiasm!!!
Ed and Jo became our workshop couple, and we got to know each other on every level.  Jo and Ed worked on their calling "Changing the world one couple at a time"  I love and will miss you.

Words can’t express how sorry I am to hear about the loss of a dear good friend that became family. I am thankful to have met Jo when I did, I have known her for 30+ plus years. She helped me through a difficult time in my life and I will forever be grateful to her. Admire the way Jo and Ed brought up her boys and how proud she was of all of them. You will never be forgotten Jo, you left us far too soon. May the light of those around you Ed and boys guide all of you through this difficult time. 

All I keep thinking about is how happy everyone is in Heaven. Especially our mom and dad. My mom would say that you and our dad could talk for hours, and she said that you were the only one who'd listen to him. Now you get to take all your memories with you and share them in heaven. Your family is beautiful, your boys are such a blessing, so polite and I know you and Edward are so proud of them. A wonderful husband and a strong marriage who could ask for more "Familia" that's all that mattered.

To our dear sweet niece, Jo. We may not have seen each other  very much, but when we did you always welcomed us with a big smile and warm heart.  Your devotion to our Lord Jesus and your family was of great love. You will be missed my sweet. Til we all meet again. God bless you Ed and your family.
