PAWLIK - Joseph E., June 2, 2014, husband of the late Alfreda (Zajac) Pawlik; cherished father of Therese “Terry” (Harold) Hans, Diana “Dee” (William) Kane and Paul (Frances) Pawlik; grandfather of Tracey (Lance) Dreisbach, Christy (Paul) Mounts, Allison (Shawn) O’Dell, Jason (Linda) Pawlik and Todd (Anett) Kane; great-grandfather of Jacob, Zachary, Kyle, Austin, Keira, Henry, Helena, Oliver and Brantley; predeceased by three brothers and one sister; survived by a niece and nephews. Family will be present on Friday from 4-8 PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1306 Hertel Ave., where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church, 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph’s name may be made to Sunshine Campus, 180 Linden Oaks, Ste. 200, Rochester, NY 14625, or Julie Zajac Memorial Scholarship Fund, One John Carroll Blvd., University Heights, OH 44118. Joseph was a highly-decorated WW II veteran who received three Bronze Stars, one Purple Heart and the French Legion of Honor Chevalier Award.
