Rosary will be 10:40 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 am Wednesday at the church.
Tim was born July 25, 1952 in Houston the son of Arthur and Olga (Mikulin) Tietjen. He received his BS degree in Agriculture at Texas A&M University ‘78. Tim was the Vice-President and Branch Manager at Citizens State Bank in Deanville; where he was employed for over 30 years and was on the Board of Directors.
Tim volunteered with the Deanville Fire Department. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ushers Club. He enjoyed coaching Little League, Youth Basketball, watching all Aggie sports and loved to farm and work outdoors.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents; and a son Timothy Nathan Tietjen Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margaret (Pargac) Tietjen; daughter, Laura Elizabeth Tietjen; sister and brother-in-law, Gale and Reuben Rendon; and numerous other family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Timothy Nathan Tietjen Scholarship fund, St. Joseph Catholic School, 600 South Coulter Drive, Bryan, Texas 77802.
