Ronnie was born to Sam and Odessa Jackson on October 13, 1949 in Galveston, Texas. Both preceded him in death. Ronnie was a long-time employee of the City of Bryan. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a servant leader. He was an active community volunteer who championed causes for children and the underprivileged.
Survivors include his wife, Kelli Levey of Bryan; a brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Enola Jackson of Texas City; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Derrick and Vonisha Jackson of Frisco, Texas; Eian Jackson of Buda, Texas; Anthony Jackson of College Station; and Nick Murphy of Bryan. His grandchildren - Bryce, Brooke and Brielle Jackson of Frisco, Texas - were especially dear to him.
