Christopher (Sonny) Harris passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, from health issues in Bryan, Texas.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy his son, Christopher Brandyn Harris, as well as Brandyn’s older Brother Adrianne Holmes Mingo, and their mother Gennifer Holmes Rhem. He was the only child of the late Artelia Cook Harris, and was raised from an early age by his grandparents Julius and Christina Cook in Calvert, Texas. They attended Spring Hill Baptist Church. Later Sonny relocated with his mother to Galena Park, Texas and graduated high school from Galena Park High School.

Upon graduation, he worked as a Registered Nurse and owned several home health facilities in the San Antonio area. He was a member of the CHI ETA PHI San Antonio Chapter until he retired from the field in 2012.

He leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Graveside service for Mr. Harris will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm at Spring Hill Cemetery in Calvert, Texas.
