She was born on March 11, 1942 in Burleson County, TX, to parents Tony and Liddie Luksa.
She graduated from Caldwell High School in 1960 and married Joe Muzny that same year on July 6. She worked in retail for most of her adult life, beginning at Perry Bros. From there, she also worked as a waitress for a time before moving on to Cook’s Discount, FedMart, and finally spending the last working years at Wal-Mart.
Even when working full time, she always made time to can/freeze/preserve all the vegetables her husband and son raised. She loved spending time with her family and friends and taking care of them. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Luksa in 2001 and Liddie Luksa in 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Muzny; her sons, Joseph Muzny; Kenneth Muzny and wife, Krista; her brother, Tony Luksa and wife, Lanell; grandson, Kenneth Zachary Muzny and wife, Miranda; and granddaughter, Laura Muzny; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Canaan, and Maverick.
A visitation is set for Friday, April 16, 2021 at 6:00-8:00pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with a Rosary at 7pm.
A Christian Mass will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, TX. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery also in Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
