Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 18 at Sanctuary of Praise. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Carolina was born November 27, 1928 in Greeley, Colorado the daughter of Encarnacion and Maria Jesus Soria Rodriquez. She loved to cook for her family and having her family around her. Carolina liked to crochet and sew. She was a devoted Aggie and Dallas Cowboy fan.
Carolina is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tim Ontiveros Sr.; sister-in-law, Lupe Ontiveros; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Luisa and Andres Mateo, and Carman and Joe Ramirez.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tim Jr. and Mary Ontiveros, Eddie Ontiveros Sr. and Norma Navarro all of Bryan, Manuel Sr. and Nora Ontiveros of Tyler; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Alice and Cecil Garcia, Sally and Gerardo Reyes Jr., Ruth and Isidro Bermudez all of Bryan; sisters and brother-in-law, Juana and Jose Martinez of Corpus Christi, Maria, Christina and Pancita all of Guanaguato, Mexico; brothers, Aurtho, Felix, Miguel, Roberto and Manuel all of Guanaguato, Mexico; brother-in-law, Gilbert Ontiveros of Houston; 21 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hospice Brazos Valley for care they gave to Carolina, and a special thanks to her nurse, Janet Morello.
