Tony was a graduate of Brunswick High, class of 1974. After graduation, he enrolled in Brunswick Junior College where he studied accounting, and later, the art of welding. Tony held a variety of positions throughout his career including Dixie O’Brien paint store, Sterling Wood Products, Belk’s department store, and many others before opening his own business, Glynn Floors. He later sold that business and opened his current store, Floors and More.
Socially, Tony loved adventure and being in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman– "the tripletail legend" –who loved nature and being on the water. He enjoyed cocktail hour and watching sunsets. Tony was very family oriented and loved being around his friends and family; he also served as a father figure and mentor to many young men in the community. He loved life and enjoyed traveling the US and world, visiting over 15 states and 35 countries - with Nosara, Costa Rica holding a special place in his heart. He was charming, never met a stranger, and had an infectious smile - he will be deeply missed by all those lucky to be in his orbit.
His father, William (Billy) Hilton Williams and step-father, Randy Tedder preceded him in death.
