Robert Chapman Patton Jr.

Mr. Patton was born the 9th of February 1937 in Germantown, Pennsylvania to the late Robert Chapman Patton, Sr. and the late Mary Guckes Cadwallader.

In addition to Robert’s parents he is preceded in death by his Aunt Carolyn Guckes, and his angel granddaughter Carson Patton.

Survivors include Robert’s loving wife of 32 1/2 years Barbara Gaylord Patton of Brunswick, GA: children Charles W. Patton of Jacksonville, FL; Debra Patton of Jacksonville, FL; Robert A. Patton (Mary Beth) of Jacksonville,FL; Renee Easterling of Brunswick, GA; Christina Whisenant of Brunswick, GA; and William Eggleston of Jesup, GA, : 9 grandchildren, Jackie (Steve) Grimes, Barry Patton, Joshua Patton, Stephanie Patton, Morgan Patton, Grant Patton, Taylor Lander, Michael Eggleston and Dawson Whisenant ; 4 great grandchildren, Addisen Grimes, Peyton Grimes, Micah Patton, and Abigail Patton.

A celebration of Robert’s life is to be held 3 PM Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave. Brunswick, GA , where Rev. James Crandall is to officiate with a reception to follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Chapel Park Cemetery.

In lieu of customary remembrances contributions may be made in Robert’s honor of chocolate and goodies to his caregivers.
