Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, February 26, 2016 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Deverger officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Dylan Music, Justin Music, Jerry Nail, Del Wilkes, Jeremy Ethridge, and Jonathan Traynham serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be active and retired employees of Hercules/Pinova, and members of Arco United UMC.
Born August 14, 1956 in Jesup, Georgia to the late Emory L. and Elma T. Westberry, he was a graduate of Brunswick, High School Class of 1974. Mr. Westberry spent most of his life as a resident of Glynn County, and was a member of Arco United Methodist Church. He retired from Hercules/Pinova as a millwright millroom technician and maintenance department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also enjoyed putting together model cars. He was also known as the “Silver Ghost“on CB and Ham Radio. Mr. Westberry also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Marie “Candy” Westberry of Brunswick, two children, Zack Westberry and wife Janice of Brunswick, and Jenny Leigh Hall and husband Jonathan of Brunswick, four grandchildren, Wyatt Hall, Michelle Roberts, Matthew Burman, and Marissa Ogden, six great grandchildren, Diana, Clarissa, Liam, Ellis, Jack, and Ella.
