Becky, as she was affectionately known, was born in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Harold William Bivens and the late Elsie Mae Bivens. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Antizzo. She had been employed by Cracker Barrel for the past 16 years. She was dedicated to her job and her faithful customers. She enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. She loved animals and will be missed by her dogs and cats. Becky enjoyed living in Gardi, GA and the peaceful atmosphere of her community. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by everyone.
Left to cherish her many memories are a son, Brian Douglas Whitfield; three daughters, Tabitha Savich, Christina Gainous, and Amy Gainous; two step-daughters, Danielle Smith and Lindsey Smith; two sisters, Nita Thornton, Rita Powell; also two brothers, Hal Bevins (Nora) and Jerry Bevins. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends between 9:30 - 10:30 AM Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. A celebration of Becky's life will be held at a graveside service conducted at Chapel Park Cemetery at 11:00 AM following the visitation with Bro. Jim Crandall officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and/or The Foundation of Liver Research.
