Born on October 22, 1938, Kay was a life-long resident of St. Simons. Kay worked for Coastal Bank of St. Simons before retiring from Rich-SeaPak as Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager. She graduated from Glynn Academy, was a member of St. Simons Civinettes Club and Christ Church at Frederica.
Kay is survived by her children, Terry (Alisha) Wiggins of St. Simons, Lynn Elder of Brantley and Keith (Cathy) Wiggins of St. Simons; grandchildren Tyler Wiggins of Brunswick, Tanner Wiggins of St. Simons, Jamie Wiggins of St. Simons and Drayden Daniels of St. Simons; great grandchildren Anna Kate and Parker Wiggins; and several nieces and nephews.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Euston and Marie Chitty; siblings, Wade Chitty, Reese Chitty, Christie Chitty Manry and Allen Chitty; and grandchildren Chelsea Wiggins, Justin Wiggins and Rachael Daniels.
A private family service and interment at Christ Church will be held at a later date.
