Jordan Daniel Lowe Sr.

Jordan Daniel Lowe, Sr., 81, of Brunswick, GA passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Senior Care Center in Brunswick, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Lamb and Reverend Stanley Luke officiating . Interment will follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery. Jim O’Conner, Joe O’Conner, Steve Pechin, Johnny Hamilton, Norman Spires, and George Cothran are active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy Edwards, Sonny Anderson, Haward Moon, Bonnie Kubacki, Shianna Franklin, Quita Smith, Melissa Porterfield, Dr. James Greene, Dr. Scott Clay, Dr. Trent Schueneman, Dr. John Limberg, the Staff of the Senior Care Center, Office of the McIntosh County Sheriff Department, and the Glynn County Sheriff Office.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA.

A lifelong native of Glynn County, Mr. Lowe was born June 21, 1928 to the late Audimas “Pete” Lowe, Jr. and the late Berta Lorraine Logan. Mr. Lowe was a WWII veteran of the United Sates Marine Corp and was the owner and operator of Lowe and Company and Lowe and Son. Mr. Lowe was also an avid quail hunter and a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA

In addition to Mr. Lowe’s parents he is preceded in death by his brother James W. “Buster” Lowe and three sisters Margaret Anderson, Agnes Green and Minnie Grace Strickland.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years Audrie S. Lowe of Brunswick, son Danny Lowe and wife Judy of Brunswick, two granddaughters Jordi and Taylor Lowe both of Brunswick, two sisters Mackie McSwain of Brunswick, and Alberta Seaton of Atlantic Beach, FL, several nieces and nephews and a special friend Steve Pechin.

Family request memorial contributions be made to the Georgia Sheriff Boys Ranch at 5671 GA Hwy 122 E, Hahira, GA 31632-2025.
