Gregory Leon Williams

Gregory Leon Williams, 67 of Brunswick Ga, departed this life on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at SGHS Brunswick Campus. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, July 1, 2022, at New Covenant Church in Brunswick Ga. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Born April 24, 1955, in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Willie James and Hattie Ruth M. Williams, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1973. He was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and last worked at Johns Mansville. He was a member of O Street Church of God. Mr. Williams was a singer all of his life taking part in the high school chorus, singing in church with his brothers and then branching off into the gospel group Ambassadors for Christ with his brothers. Members included- Rickey who was a member, Wilfred & Phinest Moran.

Survivors include his daughters, Candice “Candi” Williams- Dortch and husband Demichael of Jacksonville FL, Lacey Williams of Bronx, NY four grandchildren, Emari Williams, Zayden Guerrant, Deiontae Williams, Marcus “Devon” Price Jr. One great-granddaughter Kennedy Price. Five brothers, Willie J. Williams, wife Paulette of Oklahoma, Rickey Williams wife Karen, Wilfred Williams wife, deceased, Elesia, Kirk Williams wife Pamela all of Brunswick, John Williams wife Liz of Bridgeport, CT, a sister, Ruth Williams of Wendell NC, deceased brother Joseph Williams. A host of nieces and nephews.
