Frank David Culpepper, Jr., age 80, of Brunswick, Georgia finally made it to Heaven Friday, March 18, 2022. He went singing and shouting ready to meet his Savior while being escorted by Saints and Angels to Paradise.
David was born October 4, 1941 in Brunswick to Odie Bennett Culpepper and Frank David Culpepper, Sr. He was a graduate of Glynn Academy, class of 1959, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
David was preceded in death by his loving wife Jewel, father Frank David Culpepper, Sr. and his mother Odie Bennett Culpepper.
David is survived by his two children, daughter Heather Michelle Culpepper Poole (Jeff) of St. Cloud, Florida and son Shaun Culpepper of Brunswick, Georgia. Two grandchildren from Heather Michelle and Jeff, Rachel Poole and Kyle Poole, both of St. Cloud, Florida. Uncle and aunt John and Jane Bennett of Waycross, Georgia. Brothers and sisters in law, Joel and Wilma Bishop, Larry and Gail Kyker, and Don and Lynne Wilson, all of Northeast Tennessee. Nephews and nieces Chad Kyker, Christy Kyker, Clayton Wilson, Betsy Walker, Ben Bishop, and Emily Crusenberry, all of Northeast Tennessee. He also leaves behind special friends Murray and Barbara Poole and Judiy Boden as well as several cousins and dear friends who will miss him dearly.
David had a love for our Lord Jesus Christ that was unparalleled. If you saw him anywhere, he was smiling and talking about his Lord, his family, or his friends. He never met a stranger, heck, he even talked to them! His mission in life was to save souls.
A visitation for David will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, Georgia 31520. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 708 Mansfield St. Brunswick, Georgia officiated by Rev. Jim Crandall and Dr. Chris Winford. Burial will follow at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers for his final journey on this earth are Shaun Culpepper, Jeff Poole, Chad Kyker, Clayton Wilson, Ben Bishop, and Geoff Cannon. Honorary pallbearers are the loving people of First Baptist Church Brunswick.
Family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, First Baptist Church of Brunswick Building Fund, or charity of your choice.
