Mrs. Waldron was a native of South Charleston, West Virginia and had been a resident of Glynn County since 1977. She was of the Episcopal Faith. She was retired from Union Carbide and retired from the Department of Natural Resources in Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Edward Waldron, her parents, Sam and Garnett Saloum, two brothers, Charles Saloum and Sam Saloum.
Survivors are a son, Bert E. Waldron, Jr. (Kelly) of St. Simons Island, two daughters, Joy Bell of Charleston, W.Va. and Jennifer Elkins (Mark) of St Albans, W.Va., two sisters, Ilema Morgan of South Charleston, W.Va. and Elaine Pendleton of Dickens, TX., grandchildren, Nichole Dan, Aaron McLaughlin, Rachael Boothe, Joshua Gurnee, Ryan Gurnee, Catherine Waldron and Trey Waldron, and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 5 O’clock Tuesday 01/04/11 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 4 to 5 PM Tuesday.
