A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Blount Crossing Rd., Darien, Ga. with Reverend Randall Collins officiating. Burial following the service.
Mrs. Ives has been a resident of Darien, Ga., for the past thirty eight years. She was born in Columbus, Ga., December 6, 1933, to the late Francis Byrnes, and the late Annie Ruth Byrnes. Mrs. Ives was a homemaker and a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Darien. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.
In addition to Mrs. Ives’s parents she is preceded in death by her husband Douglass A. Ives, Jr.
Survivors include her children Danny Allen Ives (Sharon), Douglas Frank Ives (Jean), David Anthony Ives(Sherri), and Donna Ann Miller(Joe); seven grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; two sisters Jackie Allison, and Peggy Gastright ; and several nieces and nephews.
