Cynthia Louise "Cindy" Cox

Mrs. Cox, a native and former resident of Brunswick was a homemaker and a resident of Hortense for the past for the past 11 years. She was a member of the Sterling Church of God and loved above all her Lord, her home, children, grandchildren and especially her great grandchild and the memories of her already laid to rest husband, Gene and other family members.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cox, parents, William A. and Gussie Manning Lane, two brothers, William Lane and Robert Victor Lane.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her sons, John Woods of Columbus, GA, and Daniel Eugene Cox of Hortense, brother, Daniel Earl Lane of Crescent, GA, three sisters, Sandra L. Webb (Ray) and Bonnie I. Woodhouse both of Brunswick, and Robin M. Bascara (Carl) of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, Donathon Cox, Kristen Keller (Cameron), Tristan Cox, a great grandchild, Payten Sharpe, and several nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Saturday 03/03/12 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons with Rev. Larry Giles officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: Daniel Cox, Donathon Cox, Brian Gramenz, Cameron Sharpe, Mickey Pernell, Charlie Johnson, Brandon Griffin, Scott Marlo, Chris Bird, George Horne and Tracey Webb.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday 03/02/12.
