Clinton M. Turner Sr.

Clinton M. Turner, Sr., 74, of Brunswick, died Sunday November 18, 2012 at SGHS in Brunswick. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Glyndale Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery with Donette Bargeron, Kenneth Turner, Richard Daniels, Shane Stutts, Robert Daniels, and Donald Sanders serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Daniels, Johnny Turner, James Daniels, Larry Turner, Ronnie Fulford, Gary Fulford, and Bo Clayton.

Born June 27, 1938 in Pierce County, Georgia to the late Dorsey and Lilly R. Turner, he was a custodian at Glynndale Baptist Church for 28 years. Mr. Turner had been a resident of Glynn County most of his life, and attended Way of The Cross Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in the yard and housekeeping.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Turner of Brunswick, four sons, Clinton M. Passalacqua of Pittsburg, CA, William Alan Passalacqua of Clarksville, TN, Monroe Clinton Turner, and Tony Allen Turner both of Brunswick, fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Mary Ellen Brookins, and several other family members.
