Christopher Lee Bullock

Christopher Lee Bullock was born on 10/03/1974 in Brunswick, GA. He passed away on 01/10/2023 at his home in Pittsburgh, PA. Growing up, Chris was very active. He achieved the rank Eagle Scout and made two trips to Boy Scout High Adventure Camp in Philmont, NM. He played soccer and

baseball in high school. He officiated Special Olympic events with his father. Chris was always proud of the work his father did with the organization. He attended the University of Georgia in Athens. He enjoyed his time there seeing some of his favorite bands at the 40 Watt Club. He even got to work for Chef Hugh Acheson opening the 5&10. He moved to New York City in August 2001 where he worked as a chef at a few fine dining restaurants prior to starting with Apple in 2007. It was there that he met his future wife AIlison. They bonded over a discussion on the best way to cook a turkey. Together they relocated to Pittsburgh, in 2011.

He was incredibly funny and you could always count on him for a cheesy joke. He always had the best random trivia and anecdotes to share.

Chris was passionate about the things he enjoyed. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of music and comic books. His taste in music ranged all the way from classic country to obscure punk rock. He loved to cook. His meals were not only delicious, but were works of art. He loved the science of how things were made and would spend hours researching and teaching himself new skills. He enjoyed gardening and

canning produce. In recent years, he taught himself how to ferment hot sauce.

He loved to travel and made several trips to Europe and all over the US.

Chris enjoyed seeing Broadway plays, live music, and sports games. He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins. He loved when his mother came to visit and he could share those things with her. It was always a special time when she came to visit, they had an incredible bond.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Sharron Bullock, Allison Yeskel, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on February 11th, 2023 at College Place United Methodist Church with Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

The family request that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
