Carol Stinson Middleton, age 59, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick Campus. Carol was born in Macon, Georgia but had lived in this area for most of her life. She worked at the College of Coastal Georgia for 20 plus years where she also obtained her LPN degree. Carol was a very caring, compassionate person who served as a loyal caregiver to others. She loved people and was a friend to everyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Middleton; her significant other, Herman King; her father, Henry (Pete) Stinson; two brothers, Ronnie Stinson and Mike Stinson, and a sister, Kay Thigpen.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Vernon Daniels; her beloved granddaughter, Jessica Deaton; her mother, Dorothy Stinson and her sister, Theresa Hellin, all of Brunswick. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Sterling Church of God with Rev. Larry Daughtry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
