Carol A. Gregory

Carol A. Gregory, age 72, died Sunday, February 14, 2010. Mrs. Gregory was a native of Macon, GA but had lived most of her life in Brunswick. She was retired from the Cloister on Sea Island, where she was a dedicated front desk clerk for more than 25 years. She loved her job and her family, and enjoyed making beaded Christmas tree ornaments. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Carlton Gregory; a son, Richard Martin Gregory; and a grandson, Jim Denty.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Adickes of Brunswick; two sons and a daughter-in-law , Ronald “Greg” Gregory, Jr. (Grace Sici), and Geoffrey “Geoff” Gregory, all of St. Simons Island; three grandchildren, Sasha Johns (Jimmy) of Jacksonville, Candice Smith of Brunswick and Ronald “Trey” Gregory, III of St. Simons; three great-grandchildren, Brendon and Gavin Johns of Jacksonville and Elijah Smith of Brunswick; and her beloved dog, Crystal.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The procession will leave from the funeral home at 1:00 pm for a graveside service with inurnment at Oglethorpe Cemetery on St. Simons Island and will be officiated over by Reverend Danny Grace.
