Ann Brown was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 87 at Roselane Health Center, Marietta, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM beginning with a Rosary service followed by Funeral mass on Friday, May 12, 2023, at St. Francis Catholic Church followed by internment at St. Williams Columbarium.
Born on December 22, 1935, in International Falls, MN to the late Berdine Scheela and Thaddeus Daigle. With the start of World War II, the family moved and settled in Patuxent River, MD where she later meet and married Harold “Hal” Brown in July 1959. Together they had three children, Julia, Ted, and Stacia.
Ann loved spending time reading books, doing puzzles, gardening, and visiting with family and friends. She was a longtime, faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church and she and Hal volunteered at various venues in Brunswick, American Legion, Manna House, and many Sundays at the International Seaman’s House including contributions of cakes, brownies, and other baked goodies whenever there was a need.
Ann is predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Hal Brown and survived by her daughter, Julia Kersey and her husband, Gary, son, Ted Brown and his wife Jody, her daughter Stacia Triplett as well as her grandchildren, Graeme Brown, Adrienne Brown, Keegan Brown, C. J Triplett, Courtney Triplett, and Austin Kersey. Survivors also include her brother Thomas Daigle and his family, Hal’s son, Ken Zmundzinski and his family.
