Alice Faye Brown, 47, a native of Brunswick passed peacefully on Friday, March 25th, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.
Alice graduated from Glynn Academy in 1983, and was a past employee of His Kids at First Baptist Church where she was dedicated to her position as a childcare provider for several years. Alice was a current and active member of Zion Primitive Baptist Church and a longtime member of Norwich Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Elizabeth Carson Brown; her father, Jack Willis Brown, and her sister Frances Brown.
Alice is survived by her loving sisters, Elizabeth Ann Wendel, and Debra Jane Bennett, (Gerald) all of Brunswick; her nephew Jason Wendel of Brunswick; her aunt Pauline Carson of Brunswick, her cousins Reverend Glenn Carson and Leslie Carson, both of Nashville, Tenn., and many relatives and friends.
The memorial service will be held at Norwich Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, March 29th, from 11 to noon. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 10-11. Elder Chris Folsom of Zion Primitive Baptist Church and Reverend Glynn Carson of officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations can be made to the Alice Brown Memorial Fund, in support of individuals and families in need, in care of Kathy Rehling, 118 Mackqueen Dr. Brunswick, Ga. 31525
Arrangements are entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium .
