Maria De La Luz Calderon

Maria is survived by her son Roberto C. Manzanares; her daughter Lupita C. Treviño (Homero); her daughter Maria D. Piña; and her daughter Aida C. Covarrubias.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Paulino Calderon †; her brother Leopoldo Ortiz †; her brother Susano Ortiz †; her sister Amelia Guzman †; her brother Andres Ortiz † and her sister Dora Rodriguez †; her grandson Amador Covarrubias †, her granddaughter Illiana Covarrubias †, and her granddaughter Gina Covarrubias †.

She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 114 E Price Rd, Brownsville, TX 78520. Followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
