Lucila was a dedicated mother, wife and teacher. She enjoyed traveling the world 2 times to Germany and to Hawaii. She studied and became a teacher at Longoria Elementary for twenty five years. She retired and lived a wonderful life at her ranch.
Lucila is preceded in death by Gustavo Von Hatten, Micaela Von Hatten, Enrique Peña, Reynaldo Peña, Reynaldo Peña Jr., Robert Von Hatten, Carlos Von Hatten, Carmen V. Abete, Margarita Arne and Alicia V. Castaneda.
Lucila is survived by Eduardo Von Hatten, Concepcion V. Harrison, Enrique (Erin) Peña, Lionel Peña, Maria Elena Gonzalez (Noe) and Elizabeth (Tim) Anderson.
Lucila also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Lucila will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a burial at 1:00 pm at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Peña, Lonnile Peña, Joey Salazar, Noe Andres Gonzalez, Jesse Gonzalez, Charles Harrison and Douglas Peña.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Albert Abete, David Abete and Noe Alaniz.
