Lazaro Trujillo served 21 years in the United States Army. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He loved fishing, making his wooden boats and airplanes, but most of all loved spending quality time with his grandchildren.
Lazaro is survived by his daughter Jacqueline Garza (Mario A. Garza); brother José Trujillo, sister Hermina Reyna (Juan Reyna) and sister Gloria Trujillo; grandson Cornelio Andres Renteria, grandson Anthony L. Trujillo and grandson Ricardo Adan Trujillo.
Lazaro was preceded in death by his wife Socorro E. Trujillo†; son Jose Luis Trujillo† and son Rafael Trujillo†; father Manuel Trujillo† and mother Josefina Trujillo†.
A visitation for Lazaro will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a chapel service at 2:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
Serving as pallbearers are Cornelio Andres Renteria, Mario A. Garza, Anthony Lazarus Trujillo, Ricardo Adan Trujillo, Mario A. Garza Jr. and Elliot Quezada.
